Loreana joined Ad Astra in July 2021 and established the Grants Management practice. She is a Certified Public Accountant with 16 years of experience in financial auditing and audit readiness for the federal government, as well as expertise in grants management and disaster recovery funds. She worked stateside for Big Four firms and Accenture for 10 years, gaining valuable experience in leadership roles where she developed and improved audit processes while managing a wide range of clients and team members. Loreana led six CDBG-DR economic development programs for PRDOH Grant Managers and has provided crucial support to the government at PREPA, COR3, and NGOs on various matters within disaster recovery fund management. Additionally, she has provided change management guidance, process improvement implementations, and post-grant compliance technical assistance for DDEC, PRTC, BDE, PRDF, PRDOE, DRNA, DTOP, and PROMB. She is also President of the Board of Directors of the Metro Women Business Center from Friends of Puerto Rico and a member of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) Puerto Rico.
